Powder Twin 162 I've been looking for a wide board for years (well not really as I'm getting back into the sport after a double decade drop) it's awesome to finally have a board that allows me to carve with size 15 boots...I paired it with the Burton Cartel X bindings and the combo seems to be perfect (none of the union bindings were large enough for the Nitro Chase Boa size 15 boots I have (these cover the toes and I'm no longer forced to struggle in getting the straps in place and ratcheted. I also bought the D.O.A. 163w and when comparing the build quality of the edges the board i received looked like it was ground by a rookie on the assembly line which is too bad, the D.O.A. looks flawless). The board does ride like two different boards, thought this was weird to hear in all the online review guys, but it's true...in the minimal soft stuff I had to work with I could feel a real loose playful style that felt great (can't wait to get it in soft deep snow), nothing like the full camber boards I was riding 20 years ago...it has butterability for my large frame as I'm 6'3" and 225 lbs. Toe to heel was just fine and felt like I was flipping back and forth on groomer carves with the same ease I have with the other skinnier wide boards that I've ridden. Overall if you've got big feet I'd recommend the combo of board and bindings. Keep the weird coming.Took this board to the top of Loveland ski area on a good powder day. Handled like a dream. Took this board to the top of Loveland ski area on a good powder day. Handled like a dream. Effortless float and and super responsive. Thought it would be like trying to jump a brick, so I hucked a back three with a little more effort and the next thing I know it's sticking a five like it was it's job!! And being a twin, I rode out with no worries about digging on a dove tail. Absolutely love this board, 5 starts all day!!! I used the Rome stale cleaver bindings, really good combo for me.
Pretty sick. It’s not super snappy but it still gets up in the air pretty good, straight floater in the deep, couldn’t find a spot on the mountain where this wouldn’t work.

Super smoth ride. Didn't get much (read any) powder this season but powered through the slush great. Everyone loves the graphics.

I know this board is awesome for big footed guys - I have a size 9 and can like the way it rides, especially in pow. Its wide waist width with surf rock nose and tail makes it float super easily. It feels pretty meaty on groomers, but its tight side-cut makes it a little more maneuverable when you get it up on edge, especially riding pow. I like riding a stiff binding on it too!My buddy bought a slush slasher and after i bought the powder twin i instantly knew why he loved his springbreak board. My buddy bought a slush slasher and after i bought the powder twin i instantly knew why he loved his springbreak board. Held the edge charging on the icy snow, buttered through the slush, floated effortlessly on the fresh powder, spun smoothly in the park, and rode switch like its no ones business. I recommend this board 10 fold. Party on.
